Non-fiction:
- Death of an Ordinary Man (Perry, Sarah): Beautiful, thoughtful account of the death of the author’s father-in-law.
- Behave (Sapolsky, Robert): A reread. It’s a great book. All his books are great.
- A Short History of Nearly Everything 2.0 (Bryson, Bill): Catching up on over twenty years of science since the original publication. This is one of my favourite science books, and the 2.0 edition includes updates on some of the people – all of them lovely – interviewed for the original.
- You Don’t Have to Have a Dream (Minchin, Tim): Three speeches from Minchin, with illustrations.
- When Breath Becomes Air (Kalanithi, Paul): The experience of dying young.
Fiction:
- Anxious People (Backman, Richard): A lovely story of baffling people.
